Breeding and Application of a New Wheat Variety Womai 19

Abstract

Womai 19 is a new wheat variety with high yield, and Shi98-5033 as the female parent and Linfen 615 as the male parent were selected by improved genealogy method in 2010. From 2018 to 2020, it participated in the regional experiment of irrigated land group in the middle maturity winter wheat area in the south of Shanxi province, the average yield in two years was 8110.5 kg/hm 2 , which was 5.80% higher than that of control Jimai 22. From 2019 to 2020, it participated in the regional experiment of irrigated land group in the middle maturity winter wheat area in the south of Shanxi province, the average yield in two years was 7962.0 kg/hm 2 , which increased by 7.1%
