Abstract

Nowadays, the pyramid of evidence is the main model of decision-making for healthcare professionals. According to this concept, data from randomized clinical trials (RCTs) are considered lower in hierarchy than data obtained from systematic reviews (SRs) and meta-analyses (MAs).
