Lower SWS scores were observed in the severe apnea group. Additionally, results indicated that as oxygen saturation decreased, the SWS scores decreased.Conclusions Results from this study indicate that oxygen saturation significantly predicts SWS amounts. These findings suggest that interventions for low oxygen saturation could enhance the amounts of SWS.
