A rare case of iliac vein obstruction: pelvic lipomatosis.

Abstract

The case history is presented of a patient with recurrent deep venous thrombosis and subsequent iliac vein obstruction as a result of pelvic lipomatosis. The incidence and the variety of clinical symptoms in relation to this rather unknown pathological condition are described.
