Abstract

Nowadays, trains are one of the most used public transportation modes. Comfort is the key to keeping and attracting new users. Vibration highly influences comfort levels and, once it is derived from the train motion it is stated as a primary concern. Due to contact with the seat and floor, passengers are subjected to whole-body vibration. ISO 2631 standard is fully dedicated to the evaluation of this type of vibration. Following its approach, the present research evaluates the comfort levels of Alfapendular and Intercity trains operating in Portugal at the Porto Campanhã – Lisbon Oriente connection. Measurements were performed at the beginning, middle, and end of the train, allowing a comparison between seat types within the same train and the same types from different trains. Results showed higher comfort levels for the Alfapendular trains, while for the Intercity train, both middle and end of train locations were ranked as “Little uncomfortable”. As a complementary analysis, it was observed the vibration transmission of the seat based on the Seat Effective Amplitude Transmissibility (SEAT). Results were above 100%, showing vibration amplification by all tested seats. Higher SEAT values were found for the Intercity train seat. This was the first study conducted on Portuguese trains regarding comfort analysis and vibration transmission. Keywords: Railways, Whole-body vibration, Vibration transmission, SEAT.
北线葡萄牙城际列车与高架列车的舒适性分析比较
如今,火车是最常用的公共交通方式之一。舒适是保持和吸引新用户的关键。振动高度影响舒适度,一旦从火车运动中得出,它就被认为是首要考虑的问题。由于与座椅和地板的接触,乘客会受到全身振动。ISO 2631标准完全致力于评估这种类型的振动。根据该方法,本研究评估了在葡萄牙波尔图Campanhã -东方里斯本连接的Alfapendular和城际列车的舒适度。测量是在列车的开始、中间和结束时进行的,以便对同一列车内的座位类型和不同列车的相同类型的座位类型进行比较。结果显示,Alfapendular列车的舒适度更高,而城际列车的中间和末端位置都被评为“不太舒服”。作为补充分析,基于座椅有效振幅传递率(seat)对座椅的振动传递进行了观察。结果在100%以上,表明所有被测座位的振动都放大了。城际列车座位的SEAT值更高。这是首次对葡萄牙列车进行舒适性分析和振动传递的研究。关键词:铁路;全身振动;振动传动;
