Abstract

On 20 June 1987 the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) became a full-fledged society within the IEEE. Since 2019, there has been a push for the local, regional, and global celebrations to commemorate the founding of the society. This year, there was excellent participation and engagement worldwide through the events and activities hosted and supported by PELS.
