Proceedings of the 6th International Workshop on Software Engineering for Systems-of-Systems

Abstract

The International Workshop on Software Engineering for Systems-of-Systems (SESoS 2013) was held in Montpellier, France, on July 2nd, 2013, as a joint workshop of the 7th European Conference on Software Architecture (ECSA 2013), the 9th European Conference on Modeling Foundations and Applications (ECMFA 2013), and the 27th European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming (ECOOP 2013). This first edition addressed open issues and emergent approaches related to Software-intensive Systems-of-Systems, a new class of complex systems that is increasingly shaping the future of our software-reliant world. It aimed to provide researchers and practitioners with a forum to exchange ideas and experiences, analyze research & development issues, discuss promising solutions, and propose inspiring visions for the future in the field of Software Engineering (SE) for Software-intensive Systems-of-Systems (SoS).
