So, this paper presents new model for trust in WSN, called A Trust-Based Cross-Layer Model, which use cross-layer concept (ACKs from data link layer and TCP layer) to design trust'based model for sensor networks that guarantee the trust route from source to sink and isolate the malicious node. Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are vulnerable to attacks (selfish or malicious i.e. misbehaving nodes) due to the nature of the wireless media, restricted resource and the natural co-operations of sensors.
