Abstract

Features of creation of homodyne receiving paths of LFM-CW radar with wide-band signal of 3 cm and millimetric range are considered. It is shown that for increase in dynamic range the homodyne receiver of the radar has to have two frequency conversion. The first converter is carried out on the monolithic IC based on GaAs, and the second using MIC on the Si or SiGe technology. For such scheme the assessment of achievable dynamic range was made, the obtained experimental characteristics of radio paths and radar images received with the radar are provided.
