Abstract

The simulation of an ATM network at the Department of Telecommunications (UTKO), Brno University of Technology, with the ATM connection to academic network, is described in this paper. The COMNET3 simulation program is used for this purpose. The simulation is done for 3000 seconds and consists of different approaches. First is the optimum design and collection of the most important traffic results.
