Abstract
This paper describes automatic repetitive remapping applied to the solution of indirect extrusion. The application for indirect extrusion is microforging. The remapping algorithm and automatic remapping are critical in the Lagrangian solution of indirect extrusion. The FEA prediction agrees with a closed form solution of the die extrusion force.
