Abstract

This paper presents a new method for the source reconstruction from the near field data. The method uses the integral equations of an electric dipole in order to perform a 2-dimensional cross correlation with the magnetic fields of the device under test or PCB. The proposed method represents the PCB in terms of a set of equivalent current elements and also gives the information about the position and orientation of the source. The radiation from a PCB at the far field is then calculated using this equivalent source.
