Abstract

In view of the ice disaster which may be suffered by the overhead transmission line in the South China, to realize the monitoring of icing of transmission lines using UAVs, it has important significance to research the application of image edge detection method. In this paper, the principle of the three kinds of edge detection methods which are Canny operator, Sobel operator and adaptive weighted Sobel operator are analyzed, and the UAV transmission line icing monitoring image processing were compared using three methods. 边缘检测方法在无人机对输电线路结冰监测中的应用研究
针对华南地区架空输电线路可能遭受的冰害,利用无人机实现对输电线路结冰的监测,研究图像边缘检测方法的应用具有重要意义。分析了Canny算子、Sobel算子和自适应加权Sobel算子三种边缘检测方法的原理,比较了三种方法对无人机传输线结冰监控图像的处理效果。实验结果表明,自适应加权Sobel算子相对于其他两种算子,结果更接近理想值,因此具有更强的抗干扰能力,对图像边缘检测精度高,大大提高了图像边缘识别效果。
