So we used Au-MoS2 as electrochemical electrode to detect the different concentrations of glucose in 0.1 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution. The experimental results showed that the Au-MoS2 electrochemical electrode had higher response current and electro-catalytic activity than the MoS2 electrode. The Au-MoS2 electrode displayed a good electrocatalytic activity with the high sensitivity of 932μΑ mM−1, and the linear range was 0–15 mM for the detection of glucose.
