The aim of this paper is to propose a few modifications in the original design of CSP transformer as to add some new features for protection of transformer, such as, from overheating, reaching over current limit and under voltage. Commonly, fault occurred in transformers are owed to the specified reasons. Defending transformer from any damages, its monitoring and control of the entire electrical system can be done with the support and benefit of embedded system. Abstract
This paper describes the design of a device that allows any distribution transformer to mimic the capabilities of a completely self-protected transformer (CSP transformer) and how it can be improved with the use of an embedded system.
