This paper provides an outline of the current research status, developments, achievements of frequency diverse array (FDA) radar, and it is appropriate to ECCM demands. We address some issues concerning FDA radar design, concepts, and key features that making the FDA protects itself from all types of jamming, with a plan to look for further investigations on the FDA ECCM aspects.
