Abstract

The dispersion compensation is thoughtfully investigated in the nonlinear-optical loop mirror (NOLM)-based optical reservoir scheme. The BER of lower than 10−3 for P AM-4 signals is achieved at the whole C+L band through optimizing the training length and the neuron's number.
