In this paper, the UAV is used to patrol and inspect the facilities located in outfields and hard to touch by human, and the captured real-time video is transmitted to the grounded control center. Due to the energy constraint of the UAV, a trajectory planning problem is formulated to minimize all flight distance to complete the inspection task, which jointly considers the requirements of the wireless video transmission. We transform this optimization problem to an minimum energy consumption problem, and use genetic algorithm to implement the trajectory planning.
