THE CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE OMSK REGION)

Abstract

Improving the quality of innovation activity is one of the priority state directions of the country, including the regions. Since the level of innovation activity is a competitive advantage and the basis of economic stability. The relevance of the topic of innovative development of the Omsk region is determined by external challenges and established tasks. The territory is influenced by the availability of innovative potential, the formation of infrastructure, the level of state support. Therefore, the introduction of innovations in production is possible thanks to the cooperation of the state, science and enterprises of all spheres of activity. To do this, it is necessary to study the economic, social, resource, labor resources of the Omsk region, that is, monitoring of the innovative development of the region should be carried out on a regular basis. The article identifies positive and negative factors of the innovation policy of the region, examines the trends in the activity of enterprises in the Omsk region, the development of innovation infrastructure. The comparative analysis was carried out according to certain indicators: the level of innovation activity, the number of researchers, types of intellectual property objects, socio-economic conditions, scientific and technical potential, innovation activity, expert activity, the quality of innovation policy. The observation made it possible to assess the current state and prospects of innovative development of the region under consideration.
