Abstract

This paper presents the mathematical modeling of Compressed Air Energy Storage, (CAES) in obtaining mechanical power generated from expander. Mechanical power is injected to a generator to generate electricity that will stabilize 2MW active power fluctuated caused by intermittent behavior of wind speed.
