Abstract
The attractiveness of graphene, a two-dimensional crystal consisting of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, for various technological applications stems from its outstanding physical, mechanical and optical properties. The intercalation of magnetic metal atoms under graphene is a flexible tool for creating new functional materials for electronics and spintronics.
