Abstract
This contribution summarizes recent progress in superconducting properties of binary molybdenum-rhenium alloys, focusing mainly on novel physics and possible electronic applications in emerging quantum technologies. We present results of our tunneling and point-contact measurements proving the two-band/two-gap nature of the Mo-Re compounds and propose to apply complementary measurements of current fluctuations to refine the data obtained by differential conductance spectra and other techniques.
