Abstract

Antennas for Global Navigation Satellite Systems are critical for sounding rockets and missiles. Due to limited space available within the structure, microstrip antennas offer several benefits in providing an inexpensive method for telemetry and satellite positioning systems. Most of the wraparound microstrip antennas are linearly polarized due to rotation of the structure. However, advanced receivers can resolve missile rotation if the antenna supports circular polarization of GNSS. In this study, we propose a dual band antenna for this purpose.
