Abstract
The description of the geological structure, the modern geoecological state, hydrogeological and mining-geological conditions of the Solotvyno salt deposit (Transcarpathian region) is given. Peculiarities of salt karst development are considered and a retrospective analysis of its development within the mine N 9 is carried out: from catastrophic water inflow, active development of technogenic-activated karst and emergency flooding.
