Abstract
Multiple folding array antennas are deployed with the steps remaining between panels. It is possible to fold a large antenna in a small space and to deploy in two-dimension with simple mechanical structure. The array antennas that can be packed in a volume of 3U are investigated in this paper. The effects of the square and triangular element arrangements are compered. Radiation patterns are well expressed by two-dimensional diagram of contour.
