Results: The results showed that 26% of the variance in family functioning of nurses is explained by the components of neuroticism, flexibility, extroversion, and 24% of the variance in quality of life is explained by the components of personality traits. In addition, 20% of the variance in the quality of life of nurses is explained by the flexibility components. It should be noted that the level of significance in this study was set at 0.05(α = 0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, since personality traits play an important role in the quality of life and family functioning of nurses in different dimensions. it is necessary to make plans for improving the quality of life and family functioning of nurses.
