TRENDS AND FEATURES OF FINANCIAL INVESTMENT DECISION-MAKING IN HOUSEHOLDS: RUSSIAN EXPERIENCE

Abstract

With Russia's limited access to the external capital market and sanctions pressure from Western countries, the importance of do-mestic sources of financing for economic development is growing, one of which may be household savings. The author identifies trends and features of making financial in-vestment decisions in difficult socio-economic and political conditions. Particular attention is paid to the problem of stereotypi-cal thinking and irrationality of household financial investment decisions.
