Talent management has become a new area of great concern to enterprises and academia. Through a systematic literature review on talent management in recent years, this paper clarifies the current research situation of talent management in China, focusing on five areas: macro-policy and concept, talent category, talent evaluation, enterprise nature and definition of talent management. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the shortcomings of existing research: (1) lack of empirical research; (2) vague definition of theoretical boundary of talent management; (3) lack of a leading theoretical framework. Finally, this paper summarizes the conclusions of the study and points out the direction of further research in the future.
