Et voksende prekariat? Langvarige tilknytninger til arbeidslivet blant kjernegruppene i arbeidsmarkedet

Abstract

Using nation-wide register data, five types of long-term labour-market attachments, age about 30–55 years, are analyzed. The proportion with a high and continuous attachment increased from 51 per cent in 1993–1999 to 58 per cent in 2009–2015, while 11 per cent had only negligible paid work in both periods. The proportion who had low earnings and frequent income decline, resembling a precariat, was also basically the same (about eight per cent) in the two analyzed periods. The untapped employment potential in these age categories was primarily among native Norwegians with secondary or tertiary education.
