VENEZIA Y LA VENICEMARATHON

Abstract

In recent years, the issue of collective health has returned to the forefront of debates governing the management and transformation of cities, reaffirming the strong relationship of interdependence between the well-being of the environment and that of human beings, as well as the need for mutual care between community and territory. In this context, Venice represents a territorial paradigm of reference to ensure adequate levels of urban quality, lifestyles, social vitality and collective health. At the same time, the Venicemarathon, in addition to playing the role of a powerful territorial brand, can be read and designed as an infrastructure for the health of both the inhabitants and the territory. En este contexto, Venecia representa un paradigma territorial de referencia para garantizar unos niveles adecuados de calidad urbana, estilos de vida, vitalidad social y salud colectiva. Al mismo tiempo, el Venicemarathon, además de desempeñar el papel de una potente marca territorial, puede leerse y diseñarse como una infraestructura para la salud, tanto de los habitantes como del territorio.
