ORGANIZATION AND RESULTS OF ROSPOTREBNADZOR BODIES ACTIVITY IN THE VOLGOGRAD REGION DURING PREPARATION AND HOSTING THE XXI FIFA WORLD CUP IN VOLGOGRAD

Abstract

We presented the experience of ensuring sanitary and epidemiologic wellbeing during the preparation and hosting mass events with the international participation on the example of matches held within the XXI FIFA World Cup in Volgograd. The paper outlines the algorithm of planning, preparation and implementation of measures for the sanitary protection of the territory in order to prevent the entry of infectious diseases, epidemiological surveillance and control on environmental health and safety, sports facilities and their location, food safety and consumer rights protection.
