Analysing Managerial Perception for the Tool used for Measuring Operational Efficiency in Salt Industry in Rajasthan

Abstract

Operational efficiency that is base for the improvement of the financial situation, it also accomplished by streamlining the key operations of an organization in order to adapt more efficiently to constantly evolving business forces in a cost-effective way. Since the salt industry has their own limitations as it has no problem of the raw material which is water used by taking the water at very low cost, but these businesses need to enhance cost efficiency, reduce duplication thus it is important to measure that which financial tool is used by the companies in the industry for measuring their operational performances. This research paper analyses the data of 3 leading salt production firms, i.e., Saboo Sodium Chloro, Hindustan Salts Limited and Sambhar Salts Limited. The data gathered from the close ended questionnaire was analysed using the linear regression method. The result indicated that there was a substantial increase in the revenue ratio of the different variables chosen during the study era.
