Abstract
In the paper the results of measurements of electric, optical and thermal parameters of a selected power LED are presented. These measurements were performed while feeding the examined diode with direct current and while feeding it with current of the shape of the rectangular pulses train. In investigations selected values of frequency of feeding current and selected values of the duty cycle were used. The obtained results of investigations are presented and discussed. It is shown that emitted luminous flux can be effectively regulated by changing the value of duty cycle of feeding current.
