Accordingly, a simulation method of 16QAM modulation and demodulation based on MATLAB is proposed, which can simulate the 16QAM modulation and demodulation of the randomly-chosen signal as well as get the simulation image by compiling and running the matlab program. Abstract

16 QAM modulation and demodulation mode has the advantage of high noise tolerance and superior anti-noise performance, and it is suitable to work in the environment with large signal-to-noise ratio and band-limited value.
