Abstract
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is an energy consumed network. Since most of the energy is consumed for transmitting and receiving data, the energy saving mechanisms plays a vital role in WSNs. One important mechanism to reduce energy consumption in the network is data aggregation. In-network data aggregation removes redundancy as well as unnecessary data forwarding, and hence cuts on the energy used in communications. However such accumulation is known to be profoundly powerless against compromising assaults. Since sensor nodes are typically unattended and without alter safe equipment, they are exceptionally helpless to such assaults. In this paper we have overviewed the security preserving data aggregation schemes and analyzed the performance efficiency based on important performance metrics such as confidentiality, integrity, data recovery, and support of multiple applications.
