Abstract
Currently, significant environmental damage has been caused throughout the world. The consequence of such damage affects, among other things, the suitability of reservoirs and rivers for human activity. Our country is actively developing programs to improve rivers and protect lakes. Most of the efforts of these programs are aimed at reducing the load of wastewater on the reservoir. If in the case of rivers there are natural mechanisms associated with a flowing nature, self-cleaning, then in the case of lakes, reservoirs, selfcleaning processes are very slow. This raises the question: what actions should be taken to eliminate the formed environmental damage?
