Abstract

En este artículo se analizan varias versiones de la segunda carta enviada por Juan de Ávila a Teresa de Jesús en el año 1568, en la que se encuentra una aprobación del Libro de la vida de la carmelita. Con el fin de realizar una aproximación a su relación epistolar, se ofrecen algunos textos coetáneos que permiten comprender mejor su contenido y sus circunstancias.
