The main design tenets of NOAR include scalability, open standards, capacity to handle peak user loads, data security, configurability, management, reliability, availability, and fulfilling the most recent cyber security requirements. The Government of India (GoI) has set ambitious targets to integrate renewable energy (RE) at a scale of 175 GW by 2022 and 500 GW by 2030 to pave the way for meeting 40% of India’s energy requirement from RE sources, towards de-carbonization of the electricity sector.
