Abstract
Over half of the world’s population do not have access to knowledge and information because it’s not available in their language. Translators without Borders (TWB) wants to change this with Gamayun, an initiative to promote language equality. Gamayun uses advanced language technologies to improve communication with people who speak marginalized languages in humanitarian and development contexts.
