Application of ArcGIS in the analysis of ship traffic flow over a cross-sectional gate line

Abstract

In order to study the ship situation when marine ship traffic flow passes through a cross-sectional gate line in the sea, ArcGIS is used to carry out data analysis. Firstly, the application of GIS in traffic flow analysis is described; secondly, the specific process of using ArcGIS to analyze the ship traffic flow on the cross-sectional goal line is illustrated, and the problems of two-way flow analysis, ship flow analysis and analysis visualization on the cross-section are solved. Based on the data of Automatic Identification System (AIS) for ships near Weizhou Island, the analysis of ship traffic flow on a mutually perpendicular two-section gateline is carried out using ArcGIS, and the analysis results are given.
