Abstract

This paper explores the benefits of supply chain collaboration in the dredging industry. More specifically, it looks at maintenance management in the dredging industry and the logistic consequences of different maintenance policies. The research uses a simulation model of a clearly identifiable component in a dredging vessel and the related spare parts supply chain.
