Abstract

The most of known technical solutions for multi-axis control are based on single processor architecture for particular number of axes according of the limited number of embedded PWM channels. The method of increasing of this number by using FPGA support of PWM and waveform generations is described in this paper. The interface between DSP processor-calculator and FPGA based PWM-generator are made by using of TDM mode of SPORT interface ordinary used only for audio applications.
