Isso deve-se ao fato de esse modelo de desenvolvimento fornecer uma ferramenta muito útil ao se criar e/ou reproduzir um Abstract In literature and presentations of oral communication in technological art events it is common to find reports about the difficulty of storing digital works of art, especially those that are originated from programming languages that eventually end up out-of-date or their hardware becomes, by virtue of the market, obsolete. We then consider the hypothesis of being pertinent the discussion about the ontology of the digital art work, putting in debate whether or not its essence is in the programming code that originated its visuality. Therefore, we propose the use of the Domain Driven Design (DDD) methodology as a tool for artists-programmers to develop their works. DDD is a methodology that involves business-oriented thinking when developing systems. However, when abstracting the business idea (domain, as defined in the DDD litera-ture), one can notice that the work itself will be something unique. This is due to the fact that this development model provides a very useful tool when creating and/or re-producing a software system: the so-called Ubiquitous Language. This approach sug-gests the adoption of terms and rules that can identify a system uniquely - more spe-cifically, a digital artwork. Its application would provide a programming-language-free or platform-free meaning.
