Abstract

The objective of the present research is to build an empirical Lotka-Volterra system using real-time data and information from the postpaid and prepaid mobile telecommunications subscribers in the OECD area. Genetic algorithms are used in order to specify the appropriate coefficients of the corresponding predator-prey competition system, where the pre-paid subscribers hold the role of the predator.
