Abstract
There has been much interest in the manganese oxides in the phenomena of colossal magneto-resistance (CMR), which remarkable reduction in the dc resistivity of the samples by the application of a dc magnetic field [I] . Analog to the dc magneto-resitive phenomena, recent experimental works show that the magneto-transport behavior at high frequency can be sensitively affected in sofl magnetic Co-FeSi-B amorphous wires and films [2,3]. This effect is considered being based on the classical electromagnetic origin. Although considerable researches were done for complete understanding of the CMR phenomena, there have been a few reports of magneto-transport behavior in the radio frequency region. In this report, we present the study of magneto-transport properties on the sintered La,,sCa,,sMn03 at frequency tium 20 to IMHz. Experimental results have demonstrated that the giant magneto-impedance effects, much larger than the dc magneto resistive effects, on these manganite oxides.
