Mediante la implementacion de dicha estrategia se busca acortar la brecha entre teoria y praxis en el estudio de problematicas ambientales. Para ello, se retoman las posturas de Enrique Leff, quien se pregunta por el papel de la academia en la sociedad y el sentido mismo de la practica intelectual, a partir del saber ambiental. El texto se estructura a partir de la descripcion del Semillero, su metodologia de trabajo y los presupuestos conceptuales que guiaron su accionar alrededor de la educacion, la investigacion, el sentido del aprendizaje, la participacion y la educacion liberadora. Se concluye que la implementacion de estrategias de la investigacion accion socioambiental, basadas en la interdisciplinariedad, el trabajo en equipo y la articulacion real entre la academia y la sociedad vitalizan el trabajo practico de los semilleros, sin descuidar la labor formativa, investigativa y de difusion del conocimiento cientifico, misional a las universidades. EnglishThis article aims to reflect on the systematization of experience of the Semillero de investigacion Medio Ambiente y Sociedad (Environment and Society Research Incubator), which is based on the implementation of Socio-environmental Action Research, as a strategy derived from Participatory Action Research during the 2015-2017 period. The implementation of this strategy seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the study of environmental problems. To this end, the perspective of Enrique Leff is considered, questioning the role of academia in society and the very meaning of intellectual practice, based on environmental knowledge. The text is structured from the description of the Research Incubator, its work methodology and the conceptual assumptions that guided its actions around education, research, the meaning of learning, participation and liberating education.
