The results conclude that the RDA had a good performance for the 10-bar truss structure, and could enhance the compatibility equivalence constraints to minimize the weight of the bar design, and accelerate the convergence rate effectively. Abstract

This paper presents an approach to minimize the truss structures weights with discrete and continuous variables using Red Deer Algorithm (RDA).
