This leads to the necessity of development and implementation of manufacturing automation based on integrated systems with industry specifics. In the paper the preconditions of implementation of automation is provided, the choice of the integrated manufacturing execution system of oil and gas company is proved, the technique of introduction of automation of production management taking into account branch specifics is supposed. Abstract

Purpose is to justify the need of automation of production of oil and gas. Practice of automation of production management shows unresolved problems for the majority of enterprises. The research conducted by the authors confirms the presence of a variety of information products, but we cannot guarantee their full compliance with the real needs of manufacturers. This leads to the necessity of development and implementation of manufacturing automation based on integrated systems with industry specifics.
