The first technique is a simple modification of the ground plane which consists of cutting the ground plane placed in the reverse side of the patch, and the second technique is a trial of the H-Tree fractal slots in the resulting ground plane. The studied structure is suitable for 5.80 GHz RFID, LTE, PCS, 2.3/2.5/3.3/3.5GHz WIMAX and for 3.6/2.4–2.5GHz WLAN applications. The radiating element is a small patch of dimensions 20∗26 mm2 and it is designed on a single and a small substrate board of dimensions 47×47×1.6 mm3. Moreover the miniaturized antenna has a good impedance matching and a reasonable gain.
