Abstract

This paper focuses on the Microwave reflectometry for the Ka-band (26.5 GHz-40 GHz) developed for measuring the electron density profile of the plasma. The beat frequency has to be estimated for measuring the density profile of the plasma. Along with this, different techniques for electron density measurement have been explained in this paper. The results of the beat frequency estimation and the way they have been obtained are all demonstrated in a systematic manner. Also the DAQ parameters have been selected accordingly.
